The only realistic way Povetkin can win is if Wlad is taken ill on the night, or sustains an injury. Povetkin could never outbox Wlad , and does not possess a huge punch to allow him to win by KO.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Povetkin is broken down, and if he can land any meaningful punches on Wlad, but I doubt it will be a FOY candidate.

Povetkin is going to end this reign of terror.

    1. Vitali drop belts but remains a licensed boxing ultimately never giving Povetkin his match,in which WBA strips him and Wladimir regains the belt while Povetkin career dies because Vitali never fights him

Nah, Povetkin won't go the distance. Ibragimov had a much better defense.

Can't see how Povetkin will win he simply isn't good enough. Wlad would have to have a seriously off night, which is highly unlikely when you consider how consistent he has been over his reign.

Povetkin might surprise some people and go the distance but I think that would be about the only success he will have. Wlad is just on another level in terms of talent and skill.

    So ****in' true, Dino.

    You smart.

Foreman took out Joe in two. It took Ali 14.

So Foreman was better than Ali.

Floyd went the distance with Zab.

Kostya taught Zab some new dance steps in two.

So clearly, Kostya was better than Floyd.

    etc.......

Stupid Mick. Your analogy is a failure. How do two hall of famers, Foreman and Tyzu compare to a pair of bums?
Depending how long it takes two fighters to dispatch a couple of bums obviously says something about their ability.

Pianeta is a bit better than D-level, he actually tried to throw punches, limited as he is, I sometimes wonder whether you actually watch Wlad's fights, because your hatred is sometimes beyond belief

for the record, comparing Wawrzyk's speed and footwork to Wlad's, you might as well compare fire and water, that's how big a difference they are

If Povetkin prepares and fights like it's fight of his life (which it is) while Wlad is unprofessional in his camp leading up to it, then yes, an upset could happen. We've seen bigger ones in boxing.

What kind of odds would I put on Wlad being unprofessional and lazy in his preparations, though? Given his track record and that he knows how big of a fight this is, it's safe to say there's practically no chance that happens.

    Wlad KO7.

Pianeta was no level. The guy was useless. Wlad should of been able to put him away in 1 round, same with Wach......Wawrzyk did one thing better than Wlad, and thats moving on the backfoot, it was the only thing he was good at. Watch the fight again more closely....Wlad cant effectively move or work on the backfoot, all he has is hugging. If his hugging is taken away , which it probably will be in Russia, Povektin is going to be doing some serious damage on the inside.
