Im Wondering if AA can be beaten? Could Calz with all his slapping outbox AA? Or would Calz get hurt like Taylor? What style can break AA's guard?

Maybe Mikkel kessler can jab through the guard???

    What do you guys think?

Prime Calzaghe is too fast and strong. I was surprised how short Arthur looked.

    Calzaghe UD 117-111 (approximately)

    Kessler UD 116-112 (possibly closer).

He is certainly not unbeatable. A fighter with good movement, good output, good stamina and a solid chin can beat him.

    Abraham is quality though

Calzaghe would go through the first 9 rounds moving a lot, giving angles, throwing a lot of shots, mixing it up (the way to open AA's defense) avoid the explodes and... what happens when Abraham starts to gas in the last 3 rounds is the big question. Calzaghe turns on the heat bad. Hopkins has great stamina and look what happened. So Calzaghe might overwhelm him to a ref stoppage... or win a 118-110 decision.

BUT, as Calzaghe, Abraham is a great adaptor. AA is NOTHING like Lacy, Abraham is smart boxer with underrated speed (Taylor supposed to look MUCH faster) and great defense. So it's a dangerous fight for Joe... but comes out on top by a wide decison IMO.

Of course...there would be a chance of an A.A win by Ko...but id think Calzaghe would beat him by a wide margin

If AA landed flush after taking a beating for 9 rounds
    calzaghe may be KO

Even if you did get through AA's defense. Break his jaw if you like, does not guarantee a win against AA. Doing the HIT and RUN would probably be best.

Calzaghe comes in at all angles and knows how to split a gaurd. Joe would dominate, though doubtful he'd ever make Abraham taste canvas.
