could prime liddell ko fedor

    Just because Liddell knocked out heavyweight Couture, doesnt mean he could knock out Fedor, unless Fedor let him do it! Fedor would stop Liddell, prime or present, inside the first round.

    i could ko fedor, would it happen of course not but nobody is un ko-able not even hunt or a boxer like mccall

    Sorry, this thread should have been "anyone think prime Liddell would have ko'd Fedor?". I think in '04, after ufc 47's destruction of Ortiz, and ufc 52's severe beating of Couture, Liddell's momentum could have helped him beat anybody. I think if it turned into a melee like the CroCop fight, Liddell would catch him.
    The inevitable will happen eventually, Fedor will stay in the game too long, lose by knockout to someone he should beat, and they'll want to pair him up with other great fighters past their prime to keep him marketable, i.e. Liddell vs. Shogun.
    What's the chance a Liddell/Fedor fight would happen if 1.Liddell gets another good knockout win 2. Fedor loses by knockout to lesser opponent. I would rather see this than Couture vs. Fedor imo

    Could he as in "does he have the power to?" Yes.

    Could he as in "would he do it in a fight?" Not likely, possible, but not likely.

    No i think liddell striking is overrated. Yes he has power to hurt fedor but i dont think he could knock him out. When Liddell was on top of the world during his championship reign. He was fighting against wrestlers and BJJ fighters. Horn-babalu-Coture-Ortiz are all ground fighters (Wrestler-BJJ)

    That's why he look so good against them. They try for a take down and he stopped them. So now they have to strike with him. Couture striking was not as good back then. Ortiz-horn-babalu are not known for their striking.

    You put him against a beast who has no weakness in fedor and he will get KTFO. Look at what fedor did to the last 2 UFC heavyweight champion. He knock them out in less than 4 minutes combined:good

    FEDOR IS NOT HUMAN :shock::D:D

    I dont know why people bother starting threads like these...

    Until Fedor actually loses a bout without any cut stoppage bull**** etc no1 will go against the notion that Fedor is unbeatable...

    He is the current god like figure who's nuts all us mma followers ride so lets not bother with could this guy beat,ko whatever fedor...
