roy fought ruiz because he was going to make $10 million dollars. he wasn't going to make that vs jirov. jirov was a solid fighter at crusier but not much success at heavy. i always wanted this fight to happen because i believe it would have been the first time ever that two val barker award winners would have faced each other as pros.
