Could Roberto Duran go fifteen rounds with Carlos Monzon?

    Very true, Bouttier did go the distance with him on Sept 29 1973. Correct me if I am wrong but did'nt Carlos deck Bouttier late in the fight? I know that he knocked Jean Claude down in their first fight on June 17 1972, before Bouttier quit on his stool in round 13.

    I got news for you Duran could pull an upset, not his nature to fight just to survive. I could see winning a 15 rounder, he stood up well to Hagler. Marrvelous Marvin may could have beaten Monzon too. we will never know, And i'm taking nothing away from carlos and his great record
