You know, the likes of Gvodzyk, Kovalev, Bivol. Similar sizes to Rocky, right?

Then there's the cruisers. Usyk, Gassiev, Hunter, etc. Hell even cruiser James Toney or Evander Holyfield. Some real big men, right.

Do these men also pose stylistic disadvantages?

Last post for a while. Might as well make it inflammatory.

Yes. Rocky was absolutely a blown up LHW. These men you have put forth are far to modern in there ways, that's how they can beat a bigger guy but Rocky can't.
Right now I know this is a joke but I seriously pick Usyk and Holyfield to beat him.
Gassiev has a pucnhers chance whilst Hunter gets destroyed.
I think Toney goes the distance

It really depends who’s era it takes place in. You put modern fighters into the 1950s on that diet and training and they are no longer modern fighters. Some of them won’t make it as fighters anymore.

A lot of them are good enough to be successful in that period. Today we certainly have great fighters and a great fighter is always a great fighter. I just think the advantage is with the guy in the era that they are fighting in. So it mostly works both ways.

However, Pedigree and competition is a key issue.
