He wasn`t as special as Norris after only two pro fights and certainly wouldn`t have tried for a KO in the 1st round at that time.

Look how Loma uses his lead hand, look how he jabs far better than Roy did. Loma has a much higher workrate than Roy had so lands more shots during his fights.

    Neither was Mugabi.

Hagler was the first elite level fighter that Mugabi fought.

Going into the Hagler fight, he amassed a record of knockouts against low level opposition.

Sure, Mugabi was far more experienced than Roy. By 1989, he'd had many fights and it was 3 years after he'd fought Hagler. And I agree with the importance and relevance of being seasoned. But Roy would have caused him huge issues with his style and speed.

It doesn't look amazing to me. And again, none of those were top level guys.

He was still special. He still had incredible athleticism and an unorthodox style.

He may not have gone for an early knockout, but he was gifted enough to beat him.

If Mugabi was good enough to have beaten Roy, he'd have achieved more than what he did.

Lol you could just say regardless.

Irregardless is like a double negative, which cancels out the less bit and suggests it actually means, regarding.

I do often debate whether to go the short route or not and use both at different times
