he has extremly fast punches which are also explosive.

if jones keeps landing a solid one two combo down the line, do you think he will stop calzaghe?

what are the chances for calzaghe being stopped? i can see roy pulling this off. this is a close fight believe it or not. 39 isnt as old as u think

    peace

I'd go almost as far as to say it was impossible.

Well considering B-Hop dropped Joe, and Joe's tendency to find himself in a situation where he is unbalanced, I would say that there is a distinct possibility of a knockdown.

KO is more difficult to estimate though. Roy has faded and his power isn't what it used to be. OTOH he does have his lightning quick hands and reflexes. Should be interesting.

OT I can say is that it's more likely Jones KO's Calslappy than the other way round. :happy

Roy is shot, his legs look like they are in cement. This is not the same Jones from 10 years ago. He isn't going to knock Calzaghe out and I doubt he gives him a serious fight either. Calzaghe will probably knock Jones out through accumulation. This fight has one-sided written all over it

Prime 4 prime he would thrash him in my opinion but now I don't see him winning let alone scoring a KO. There's always hope though.

Who was Roy's last KO? If anyone gets knocked out it will be Glass Jaw Roy Jones. He was KOed by Glen Johnson for nearly 6 minutes.

Jones is a shell of himself. if he beats calzaghe then calzaghe's credit is destroyed. I don't care who wins but smart moey is on calzaghe, 5 years ago calzaghe gets shut out and embarassed but no today jones is nothing he used to be.

    Not five years ago.

Roy was coming down from heavy and between the Ruiz and Tarver(1) fight.

Tarver came close. Joe would have UD'd him IMO.

Six years ago, Roy would have won a clear UD.

Seven or eight years ago, Roy wins a wide UD or possible KO.

At this point, Roy still has the power, in either hand, if he's willing to go for it.

(IMO, he lost the Tarver (3) fight due to mental deficiencies. He demonstrated boxing superiority in rd 5, and then seemed content to avoid a KO for the rest of the fight).

Since it's probably Roy's last outing, he might let it all hang out and he could KO Joe.

My prediction: Calzaghe by clear UD or late TKO.
