It was just over 3 years, not 5 as you claimed. He also in most peoples eyes should have got the nod over Valuev, beat Rahman and went 36 rounds with Holyfield. Not the best heavyweight champion by any stretch of the imagination I know that, but I'd love to see Calslappy face him, just for comedy value
Aaaah, I've just worked it out. You said Jones had a glass jaw, and that is the most moronic statement in this thread, yet you call me a moron? I know who you are now though, so I'll save my breath. Keep spouting **** dude.
Because he ducked Glen Johnson twice, and never took on a live challenger in his career up until Lacy and Kessler. Compare that to Toney and Hopkins you twat. Goodnight :hi:
Shat in his cornflakes, stole his Mrs, cost him money in the Lacy fight, You name it Joe has done it. That damn Calzaghe!!!!!11
The dude is usually a semi-decent poster, except on the topic of Calzaghe (and the Klits). He might be said to have certain biases here. Calzaghe won 9 of the twelve rounds against BHop. (He was the aggressor AFTER the KD for the balance of round 1, a KD which was a combination punch/shove) Bernard came close to being stopped (not by punches, but the pace) and had to resort to fakery (pretty ****in' blatant fakery) to buy some respite and survive the distance. Rico Spadafora seems to have a hate for Jones, and quite possibly began watching him around 2003. Roy is the most talented and most dominant boxer anyone under 50 has watched live. (perhaps anyone ever !) It is unfortunate that he didn't retire after Ruiz. So much of the Roy-bashing bull**** would not be showing up on this forum. Prime Roy beats any version of Joe (or any other 168 lber) by a wide UD or a KO. This is not prime Roy, nor prime Joe, though Joe hasn't slipped as far. Prediction: Joe by a clear UD. Late stoppage is possible. BTW: Roy's glass jaw is a myth, just like Lennox's. Watch their entire careers and then pass judgment.
Jnes does not hit harder than Kessler and Joe ha a very good beard. The one thing that means Roy may have a better chance than Kessler is that Roy's punches are less schooled and more unortodox. Kessler does all the right things according to the boxing books, but that also means that the opponent almost anticipates them. Roy on the other hand likes to throw punches off balance and from weird angles. Who know - but I don't think it is likely as Joe has a very good beard. Also it is not imposible because there are opportunities because Joe hits so much.
Do you really, REALLY know who rico spadafora is? Check out the thread I made: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78622&page=1
