Generating power is much more complex than "having big muscles" like some tards here believe. The shoulder articulation is crucial, but not visible from outside.

Exactly like the meninges membranes are crucial for having a good chin, yet totally hidden from the outside.

Muscolar innervation is also fundamental. A skinnier person can lift more than a more buffed one, because his muscolar fibers contracts better and reacts more to nervous stimuli, and this of course is even more important in fast explosive movements.

Kovalev said that he never worked with weights, but what he does a lot, is exercises for warming up his shoulders

LOL @ this thread....two things impressive looking arms have very little influence regarding punching power....secondly, I've met Kovalev in MSG and his power is most likely generated from his thick bone strucuture, he's not physically inimidating in my opinion...he's actually regular sized man then again I'm probably above average size.

Arms have very little to do with punching power. The muscles there are really only involved in the transfer of energy, not the generation of energy.

Never been able to find any correlation between any physical characteristic and punching power.

Honestly Golovkin is Popeye to me. That dudes forearms in ****in huge. Don't know how much they help but they gotta account for at least something, especially with how hard everything seems to land.

Said in a Recent article that Once he beats The Alien and the Pimp then SOG in the next year or so, He may make an assault on the heavyweight division. He says he feels has the power to smash the glass of much heavier men including Deontay Wilderness, Tyson Dreary, Wladimir Bitchko, David Stray, Bermane disturb And David Lice. And i agree with him 100% :good

Why not stop at CW and test the waters. Kovalev and Usyk would be classic. The HW thing is probably motivated by money, plus he does not have the frame or chin for HW at least not in this era.

Olexandsr Usyk and Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev are friends, they both allow each other to dominate each others division all in good time. Usyk will take over the mantel once Kovalev has retired. :deal

Kovalev would drag Ward to the top of Ayers Rock and throw him off.

200lb Kovalev vs Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Huck, Wlodzrczyk maybe even Lebedev...10/10 would watch:good
I'd like to see him fight Bellew and give him a chance to prove his "Kovalev is a hype job" theory:lol:
