Oh, you are talking about current. I thought historically. I can see how you believe that.

Even though I think in boxing potential doesnt mean much, there is too many intangibles that make a champ. Nothing is for sure. So I dont think we can say they are going to be dominating just yet. They have to prove it.

I have learned from mistakenly praising the panchito bojados and judahs of the sport. That is essentially my point of this thread.

I hate these statistic lists. "Oh America has 50 times the amount of people that's why they have the most champs" As if the whole country boxes. Their is barely any boxing gyms in the us compared to other countries. Close to 100 percent of our country has never been in a boxing gym. The whole per capita of boxing=fail

Cuban amateur boxers are fighting 16-17 years old amateur fighters while they are in their mid-twenties.

When was the last time Cuba produced a great pro boxer(with the possible exception of Gamboa):think

Cuba produces probably the best amateur boxers but so far the great majority have failed to live up to expectations as pros. As they say, the proof is in the pudding.

    The answer is NO.

Again, just cause I am in such a loving mood as of late, nothing against cuban people. Wish you the best!

But for now, not quite the best. Maybe in a few years.
