I was thinking, hypothetically, if a fast lighter weight went into a fight with valuev could he avoid his shots thrown and win a decision? Obviously, the size difference is imense and if he took just one shot that would probably be the end.
The James Toney (he fights the way Mayweather does) of the year 2004 or 2005 even 2006 could beat Valuev easy.
amen to that, but floyd will have to jump up to hit his face else valuev will block everything to the body. btw the audience will be the onez that get TKO'd via bordum
On second thoughts I should buy a packet of condoms so I can **** you up for making this thread loool
This is a question in a general sense i have been thinking about myself, now a fighter like charlie burley managed to stop a heavyweight and only weighed about 150, walker managed to beat a few and was a natural middle. I don't think in this situation floyd would win, he's just to small and valuev too big, but i think it is possible for a top top class welterweight with speed and defensive skills(eg leonard) to outpoint a decent heavyweight
At least a Paul Williams could negate the height a little. But remember the scoring emphasis is on clean This content is protected punching. This keeps coming up over and over and over. People expect judges to score on number of shots landed? That isn't the criteria. I just don' t see Mayweather hurting Valuev. Period. End of.
Williams has four inches extra reach than Evander Holyfield. Obviously his chin would be an issue at HW...... **** it, make the fight. I just wanna see Valuev get embarrassed.
No, someone the size of Mayweather could not beat Valuev. They couldn't get close enough to hit him without getting prodded away by a gigantic jab, and at one point in the night, Valuev would get close enough to land a big swing.
