And you were always outweighed by those smaller guys?
I said weight is generally more important, but weight normally also goes hand in hand with weight.

What I said is, a smaller guy who is 200 lbs has advantages over a taller 200 lbs fighter.

Chances are you also outweighted all of them in your sparrs.

The more upward angle there is on a punch, the harder it is to get leverage on the punch and the more likely the puncher won't get full force behind it. That said, short guys knock out tall guys all the time. 5'5" Dwight Muhammad Qawi knocked out six footers on a pretty regular basis. Jimmy Wilde knocked out a bunch of guys who towered over him. Tyson obviously knocked out a number of much taller fighters.

I'm assuming you believe the weight distribution favors the smaller more compact fighter when comparing two guys one having a 5inch height advantage (or disadvantage because of loner nerves and neck lol) though they weigh the same.

Truth is most guys I sparred weighed just as much as I did, one exception would be angel manfredy who almost doubled me over withhttp://sosoboxing.com/boxing-video-watch-online/luis-orlando-del-valle-vs-dat-nguyen/ a vicious body shot back in 2005

    Some noteworthy ones:

5'6" Sam Langford has KO wins over 6'3" George Godfrey and 6'2" Harry Willis

5'9" Jimmy Bivins beat 6'3" Lee Q. Murray mutliple times

5'10" Marciano ended the career of 6'4" Carmine Vingo and KOed 6'2.5" Joe Louis

5'10" Mike Tyson KOed 6'3" Bruno, 6'3" Ruddock, 6'3" Alex Stewart, 6'3" Larry Holmes, 6'4" Carl Williams...also decisioned 6'5" Tucker.

5'10.5" Joe Frazier KOed and destroyed 6'3" Buster Mathis, 6'3" Bob Foster, and also beat 6'4" Joe Bugner.

5'10" David Tua KOed 6'3" David Izon and 6'2.5" Rahman

Also worth mentioning 5'11" Archie Moore has KOed or beat 6'3"-6'5" contenders like Valdez, Baker, and Lavorante. All of whom had anywhere from 15-30 lbs on him.

And of course many more..has happened far too often throughout history to even ask the question. Just look up any undersized Heavy and they certainly left behind 6'2"-6'5" victims, and not just cans, quite a few of actual quality.

Paul Williams is billed as 6'1", but it's widely rumoured that he's taller. 5'10" Sexy Sergio knocked him the **** out.
