Heavens no. He had a GREAT chin but he was simply too open to last 10 against George. It would get ugly, the type of ugly that sees boxing under attack again.

The best I can say is he is stopped on his feet. He has nothing for peak Foreman and would be frighteningly over matched. It would be nasty. Probably would remind one of the old Roman coliseum death matches. There would be talk of banning boxing after this one sided brutality.

no way... I remember when Duran was going to fight Hearns that Tommy was asked, Ray could not knockout Duran how can you. Tommy said simply "I punch harder than Ray".. This is a similar situation .That difference in power means Tex would be stopped probably in 4 or 5 rounds.

And that’s if he’s lucky, I see a brutal stoppage , Think Braxton versus Saad TKO 10.

Tex would be in there fighting he didn't know the word QUIT!!! After the Holmes fight's final bell Tex turned to ref Steve Crosson & said "Old Holmes cant hit me no more his hands hurt him too much give me 3 more rounds & Ill be HW Champ" LOL Tex told me that & later on in Dallas Tx I met up with Steve Crosson & asked him if that was true. He said " Absolutely yes he did & I believe he meant it too, Tex was never going to quit"

No sure I agree w all you wrote but regardless a well written , smart post. Beware the Foreman militia mob that swear he was indestructible, a skilled boxer puncher and never got tired.

TKO 5 and Randy is arguing with the ref when he waves it off.

Then Cobb buys everyone a drink in the hotel bar after party and drinks them all under the table.
