Or is Penalosa too slick to get KO by his fellow Filipino?

By the way has Pac ever faced a a true to life safety first fighter in his long and allustrious career?

Gerry used to outbox pac in sparring...I don't know how this would translate in a real fight.

I like Pac...Penalosa is very slick..as is JMM...I think Pac could take this in the later rounds however!

Pac was still pretty raw and unpolished at 122...I dont think he would stop Gerry.

It would be a pretty competitive fight..but I tend to think Gerry's best days were down at 115 and he would be to physically disadvantaged to get the win. Probably a lot like the Ponce De Leon fight went but Pac would land a bit more.

    No!

The best names that Pac fought at 122 is Lebwada and Agapito Sanchez or . . . Jeorge Ellicier Julio if people want to consider him. Pac is a reckless one diemnsional fighter at 122 and Penaloza has a very good defense. No KO.

It depends. We already saw him fight a pressure fighter at 122 in De Leon...and he lost by decision. Granted, he made Ponce look silly on occasion, but he never had the power to back him off. Pacquiao, although raw, was much less crude in his boxing skills than PDL. I think it could go either way, especially since Gerry already has an L against a pressure fighter with power at 122.

I think so. Pac was stronger at this weight and KO'd almost everyone. Penalosa has a good chin but 122 is his make weight and Pac had lots of power and speed at this weight.

No, Gerry is much skilled than Pac even on the younger days. If they fought, I see Pac going down.

I respect Penalosa a lot, but he is no Marquez. Even Marquez had his hands full dealing with Pac.
