    :think

Discuss. I think it would be a great match, lots of holding mixed with a lot of passive aggression from both sides.

    55-45 fight for Lewis IMO.

55-45 would be the score halfway through the 6th round if Wlad somehow hasn't been knocked out cold before then.

Wlad has no way out in this fight. Let's be real.

His grappling absolutely will not work against a guy who has an excellent inside game. And there is little, if any, speed or power advantage. He has never even come close to fighting anyone of Lewis' caliber.

    Lewis KO8

those inside uppercuts lennox throws are a thing of beauty and i feel would negate wlads clinching ability quite a bit.

He COULD win, but Lewis winning is far more likely.

    I would favor Wladimir.

    Lennox just wasn't as polished.

Yeah I agree I'd just favour Lewis. I see it as a 60 40 to Lennox.

Very hard to set up an opinion because both boxers fight similar in some way.

Both boxers hit very hard and accurate. Wladimir has the better jab and also he's better conditioned and in a better shape, which is very important, especially in a clash of two super-heavies. It would be pretty tight but Klitschko has an advantage on the outside and would be the one winning on points if the fight went that way.

On the other side, Lennox is very clever and he is also very good on the inside, especially with his uppercut with is certainly one of the best. I'm sure that he'd try to force the inside game if he felt like he was losing on points. I could also see Lewis being very aggressive, trying to surprise and catch Wladimir with one of his big shots.

Like I said, the fight is very difficult to analyze and could go either way. It could go to the distance, but again, it could end with someone being stopped.

60-40 in Klitschko's favor is the way I see it.

Edit: I thought that this is prime vs. prime. Wladimir beats Lennox of 2003 (either stoppage or clearly on points) in my opinion. Lewis just wasn't in his best shape during that time.

I think those are fair odds. Wlad certainly couldnt mix it up with Lewis, but he has a fair chance to get Lewis into the late rounds and win on points if its the same LL that showed up for Vits.

Hasim Rahman, Oliver McCall, Zjelko Mavrovic, Michael Grant and Mike Tyson all hit Lewis with big right hands. In some cases KO punches. Fighters can be exposed in victory as well as defeat. Does Klitschko have a good right hand? Yeah. Was the left hook one of Lewis' favorite punches, not really. Does a boxer need a left hook to cut off an opponent who's moving towards his left? Yeah. Is slipping inside a hook and throwing a right hand over the top of said hook something WK could do? Yeah. Could he follow it with a left hook? Yeah. So yeah, he could beat him. While Lewis may have been a harder puncher than Klitschko; I don't think he could move well enough to his own left to win. Klitschko could win if he used the right strategy. Klitschko just has more developed two-handed skills and can move better going to his left.
