Any merit to all of this being an elaborate sham?

    Blades are out bigtime.

Deadspin is a heavy hitter. That's not a YouTube video you've posted there my friend.

When Ortiz splats on the canvas, I will get a screenshot.

He will be lying completely horizontal with no curvature, proving the Flat Earthers are right!

I don’t understand why Wilder has this effect on people. It’s seriously out of control. The guy needs to take a break from Wilder as well as many of you. I can’t wait for this fight to be over.

The Malik Scott fight was clearly fixed. It is not unlikely that Haymon will fix this fight too, because he wants to make sure that the Joshua - Wilder fight happens. That would be the first and only lucrative fight in Wilder's fraudulent career. After that the windmilling con man from Alabama can disappear into oblivion, Haymon won't need him after the bodybuilder exposes him.

I was very suspicious when this fight was announced, but the fact that both Ortiz and Wilder have trained really hard makes me believe that there is no fix.

I don't see why they'd bother if it was a fixed fight.

This believable because we all know if hitler had lived he`d only be in his early 60s although he was in his 50s during ww2.

The Scott "fight" looked like a (very obvious) fix indeed.

Stiverne 2? No way. That one was simply a guy being steamrolled. Wilder blew him away legitimately in that rematch.

I didn't mean stiv 2 was fixed more like it was shady because stiverne didn't even threw a punch he knew he didn't stand a chance himself yet wasted our fans time...

Didn't read it, but no, its not, that will be apparent when Wilder legit sends King Kong's noggin sailing into the 4th row in the second round.

Hmm... yeah, he was rather "timid" during that single round. Good point. However, to be fair... in their previous meeting (where he was basically a walking heavybag for twelve), Berman was still barely able to throw.

The second fight, Wilder picked up where he left off... but with much straighter, crisper shots (leading up to the first knockdown). And Berman was quite out of shape.

It's an excruciatingly long rant with little merit. The guy appears to be a BS vendor, common for many writers and journalists.

There is a phenomenon in boxing (as in life) whereby people's dislike or hatred of someone can cause their judgement of that person to be wildly distorted. This is happening to a strong extent with Deontay Wilder - as it is with, for example, Donald Trump.

The heavyweight division can live or die tonight.
People who have been involved in boxing for generations will not be fooled.
