Could the real holder of Fedor's belt be another Russian?

This is my reasoning.

Combat Sambo is basically a mixed martial arts sports with a different fight rules. Its judged differently, they dress differently and some allowable stuff there is actually illegal in the UFC. Kicks, punches,takedowns, submissions and all the grappling is present.

Fedor's first legit loss (the robbery of Kohsaka should be disgarderd) was in Combat Sambo to Blagoi Ivanov in 2008. This is before Werdum or any of Fedor's other losses. Blagoi Ivanov still holds this because he has never lost in MMA and to my knowledge hasnt lost in Combat Sambo.

The battle between these two looked epic, both especially in the second fight moved very similarly and both has a similar body shape from far. I found it hard to tell the two apart. The main difference was that Fedor held his hands up differently and his strikes werent as looping.

Blagoi gave Fedor more of a fight than 95% of Fedor's highly rated MMA opponents and actually gave as much as he got both striking and on the ground. He also never backed down after hits unlike many of MMA fighters.

This is why I always say that Fedor's battle wear isnt just because of age. Fedor cant keep to the same level of intensity and be fighting as long as Randy for example, simply because Fedor has maybe 8 times more overall fights than Randy.
