could this path for hopkins make him top atg? 1.chad dawson.not that good in his last fight but still has a lot to offer. 2.lucian bute.unbeaten. 3.sergio martinez.second on the pound for pound list. 4.super six winner. what are your thoughts on these matchups.does anybody believe hopkins could win these 4 fights then become a top ten atg.i think he could win all of these fights,but not sure if he would become a top ten atg but definently in with a shout.that a really impressive resume.

I think Hopkins would solidify his status with a title at HW then there would be no debate. If Adamek beats Vitaly which is a long shot then I can see that fight being made which would be awesome. Otherwise just keep beating young guns. Hopkins to me is already the best fighter of my generation. No guy has kept proving the odds wrong time and time again. Specially a guy with no amazing physical talents. His god given talent is his brain and his discipline to have dedicated all of his life to the sport.
if he gets a win over the super six winner he has moved up the ATG list but imo even if he beats all 4 he isnt in the top 10 ATG
If he was to beat all 4 of those guys then yea he gets bumped up to maybe the top 10 if not then top 20, but I dont see that happening.
no to be top ten ATG you should beat other ATG in their primes at their comfortable weights which Hop never done. He will start catching up Pac around the 30-20
I really like Hopkins. He is a very special fighter. But do you think that if Adamek beats Vitali, Hopkins would stand a chance against Adamek? Hopkins would have to fight on the outside and Adamek is a master in cutting the ring. Althought I think that Hopkins could go 12 rounds, I cant see him beating Adamek. The best I can see for Hopkins is losing by close decision. I can see Hopkins beating Wlodarczyk, Huck and Lebedev at CW though. I think that Cunningham is too much for him.
