awful jab. he uses it a lot but it is hardly top tier technique. he doesn't respect his own height and bends over not only to a small guy but actually sticks his chin out.

nah guy looks european level I'm pretty sure he will become a brian nielson for finland.

I thought he looked pretty good, but you have to consider that he was not in against a very tough opponent.

This guy looks like he's gonna get knocked out by a overhand right sometime in his career, he's waaaaay too open to be hit by that right hand. He pulls his head straight back while trying to get out of the way, sticks his chin out, and has virtually no athleticism like someone else mentioned, and this is all against a tomato can. He needs to work on that lazy jab too, no snap on it. I wonder what will happen when he faces someone who can actually punch back and counters him. :yep

Next great heavyweight champ? I don't think so, but when he improves his defense and gets better I can see him having a few good fights. :happy

EDIT -- Didn't know that was his first pro fight, he has lots of time to improve!

He wasn't Povetkin in the ams but I wouldn't call him lousy either. He took the silver at the 2006 European championship, knocking out all of his opponents (a very rare thing in amateur boxing) before losing in the final to a guy its no shame in losing to-Russia's Islam Timurziev

typical german home town decision. the referee barely let the fat midet box and clearly stopped the fight once the beanpole started taking punishment

    for shame!

Why did the ref count to eight, then stand up and tell the fighter on his knee to come on?

He has a good body attack.

One thing he has to work on though is bringing that left back into guard position after throwing a jab. Either that or he has to learn how to tuck his chin to the shoulder when throwing the jab. He's a big guy and not very quick on his feet so if he continues dropping his left after throwing the jab he's gonna get nailed good with a straight right.

Plus on top of that he stands straight up in the air. No lateral movement whatsoever. His body attack is nice but he's gonna get exposed by someone at the top level when he steps up. Provided he continues in the way he's going.
