You are right, mate! No shame in losing to the present nr.1 at heavyweight at the amateurs. Timurziev plays in his own league at present.Helenius didnt have the experience to cope with the outstanding Russian then.
Yeah, Timurziev is a GREAT fighter and Helenius fought very well against him in 2006. Even that proves that Helenius has got the talent to fight the best fighters in the world.
I have not signed the contract yet, but if Rahman is willing to fight me I am ready! :yep I will beat him again! Honestly saying I belive that JT´s time is over. I would not like to see him going out in the same fashion than my other favourite boxer Chris Byrd went out. That fight made me cry. It was very sad.
It proved he can fight best amateur fighters in the world. There is a big difference compared to Pro game. But I hope he will do good. He said in interview that in couple of years he can challenge Valuev and Vitali Klitchko  . So atleast he believes in his changes in division. I wonder who hes next opponent going to be when he fights in Tampere. Im planing to go to watch that match.
To be honest i'm not at all impressed with what i just saw. He was fighting a punching bag, seems kinda slow and telegraphed. Defence looked leaky as well. I would have to see more.
You really think that Helenius is slow? Sure, he has some weaknesis, but in my opinnion speed is one of his best weapons.
Speed, power, fast legs, smart boxing, great size. Helenius has great potential to be the next heavyweight champion of the world!
Give him some time. Tye Fields is fighting Monte Barrett next, so we should find out something about him.
