He could box, and he was a dangerous puncher at 175, and would have been at 168.

It's always easier said than done with Jones, but he would have had options.

Only if he carries him.

 

Roy might carry Jack for a round or two before those openings are just too appealing and he sparks him out cold.

 

Roy started getting KO'd only as he aged, and by boxers far far superior to Gibbons.
Gibbons probably wouldn't even be able to land on a past his peak Roy, let alone a prime one.
Roy will make Gibbons look like an amateur, it will be like taking candy from a baby.

 

Do you mind explaining why Glen Johnson is far far superior to Gibbons? This isn't some gotcha question I just genuinely want to know why you think this.
