Think you'll find he was 6'1" plus he did a Tommy Morrison against Foreman, Tyson didn't have the boxing brain to box cleverly, he had no plan B...

Wass..give up lad, you've been exposed as someone who's total knowledge of boxing could be written down on the back of a postage stamp.

I hope Mike's poor hands could take it. No, really, that head is an enormity and very dense, if you reach for it with the leverage Mike would you could shatter your hand.

Those ribs, though. I'm convinced he'd put Valuev down and out on bodyshots. Can't miss.

    Give it up.

He's listed as being 5'11 on boxrec, as well as on many other websites. Not that it's important.

If Ruslan could beat Valuev being roughly the same size as Mike, but without the same attributes, then there's no reason why Mike couldn't also have beaten him.

He's listed at 6'1" on many other sites.... I've seen pics of him stood next to Don King and he's a lot closer in size to him than Tyson is.

You still don't get it, Ruslan fought cleverly off the back foot, something Tyson was alien to. Valuev held back his full power but I think against Tyson he would unleash the fury and knock him out.

Weather he was 5'11", 6'0", or 6'1", it really makes no difference. Tyson and Chagaev were fairly close in height and weight with Tyson being far better conditioned, better chin, faster hands, more power, more skill, etc, etc... For the record I don't think Tyson "destroys" Valuev because the size difference combined with Nikolay's tendency to play it safe would see him to the cards.. I can see mike outworking him to a decision and winning about 11 out of 12 rounds.

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter what his height was. The fact is, he was dwarfed in height, weight and reach, yet he still beat him. Haye also beat him, and Evander at 46 was robbed.

It doesn't matter how Ruslan fought. Everyone has different styles. But Mike possessed great skills, coupled with great speed and ferocious punching power. Which was more than enough to beat Valuev.

I also gave John Ruiz the edge over Valuev in their rematch. Lousiest fight I ever saw.. Crowd should have gotten a refund for their money for that snooze fest. Valuev was painfully slow to watch. Non Aggressive. Average skills at best and absolutely no work rate.. Being that big was more of a handicap to him than it was an advantage.

Don't forget Holyfield kicked Tyson's ass on two occasions, he couldn't make a dent on Valuev.
