Could Ugas present a difficult style for Pacqiao?

With Spence pulling out and Ugas being a late replacement how well do you think he'll do against Pac? As much as it really sucks for Spence to be out of the Pac fight at the last minute I'm still curious to know how this one goes.

So what's everyone's thoughts on Ugas' chances with Pac? He gave Porter a rough night and arguably won.

Pac drops him twice and wins comfortably on points. Porter is a good brawler nothing more.

There was no arguable in that win, Ugas won a clear 8-4 fight, he beat Porter the best out of Spence, Thurman and Brook, the decision was a robbery.

When you are in your 40's everyone can be a difficult style.
I imagine if Pac was willing to take on a last minute replacement, he must feel confident.

I don’t care about it. Does 0 for Pacs legacy. Lose-lose fight for Pac.

If he has any fight left in him, he should save it for someone worthy.

Taylor or Crawford. Heck go down to 135 and fight Loma or Tank, that would be more interesting.

Anyone but Ugas. A guy who’s best win is Omar Figueroa.

He's an opponent PAc better not sleep on. I do favor Pac in this fight. Ugas isn't a spring chicken either. And I don't think he has the power to keep Pac honest.

Pac's best chance is to get Ugas in trouble early. If this fight goes on for too long and Ugas will have the advantage due to his youth and size.

Ugas is a skilled customer, and with good skills, respectable if not amazing power, and he came from the Farm. We've also seen last-minute replacements go all in and make the most, especially against inactive guys like Manny. The problem is...we've seen him cracked and go into defensive mode in the final seconds of the Abel Ramos fight. What's Pac going to do to him?

I think it's a difficult change up at least - Ugas style is much different to Spence, where Spence is more a come forward fighter with educated pressure, Ugas more looks to bring you on to his counters, so the gameplane Pac has been working on will probably need to be completely re-evaulated.

As others have noted, Ugas I felt beat Porter more clearly than any of his narrow defeats, but for once Porter got the nod.

This is not an easy fight for Pac, and the risk is the motivation he has had to beat the #1 @147 and having such a huge marquee win at 42 is somewhat diminished.

But Ugas does have a title though at least.

What makes this really interesting to me is whether Pac does retire after this now...

Pac's fighting for the title he lost to Ugas without a single punch being thrown.
