Who needs Ducking Spence ? He's DONE !

 

As much as I don't care for this fight. I'm happy for him. Imagine coming from the terrible hardships of Cuba and then a perfect storm of events that leads you to fighting the GOAT of your generation, in probably, his last high-level fight.

IDC what anyone says, Pac's next fight if he fights, he will be 44. He is DONE fighting at high level. If Spence really wants this, they can delay 2-3 months and have the fight then. I'm not watching Spence fight a 44yr old Pac.

 

That is your prerogative and win or lose this might be Pacquiao last fight. He may stand and win in the upcoming Presidential elections.

 

I have not known this before. So, he should be ready to fight Pacquiao then.

I think Pac is showing class and balls by not just cancelling the fight. Ugas seems to be tricky with plenty of stamina and not a big name.

Ugas is definitely a live underdog. High risk and low profile.

Delay probably was not an option. Pac is 42. He went trough a full training camp. You don't want to waste a training camp in your 40's. That's months of work to get your body ready for a certain date. He's not 20 where the body can just recover and spring back with a good nights sleep. You are 40 and go through the weeks of a hard training camp, you need to use it, because the next camp will be worse the older you get.

 

Both guys are pros. Between Pac-Ugas and Ortiz-Guerrero, it's still a fun night.

Not Pac-Spence good, but maybe a more competitive main event.

No more cancelled cards.

 

If he beats Ugas legit, he should fight the winner of Crawford/Porter assuming that fight is actually made and he can do it in the next year or so.

 

Ugas is Shawn Porter's daddy, after all.
