You're lying about it in yet another thread, huh? You're a compulsive liar or something?

No. That was one of the strongest reactions to a body shot I’ve ever seen. Physically trembling and in great distress. Can’t think of another like it. He would not have beat the count. If he could have beat the count, he wouldn’t have spent a minute and a half on the floor after he was dropped. During that time he attempted to stand up twice and couldn’t. Both attempts to stand up were well after ten seconds had passed as well.

We will never know. The opportunity to know was lost in the moment; anyone who claims to know is lying. Even if they fight again and the same thing happens, it would have zero bearing on what would have happened two or three years prior. It was ruled as a low blow - end of discussion

Of course he could and would of got up after the low blow had the ref deemed it a legal shot. I get that Usyk gives his haters so little ammunition to hate on him and that in itself drives them almost as mad as his success and excellence does, but they're really clutching at straws.

Dubois hit him low many times not just once and he carved Hrgovic's face up machete style with over 20 billy goat butts. That was his choice and he can only blame himself and no amount of big baba tears from him, his team and the Usyk haters is going to change that or the fact that Usyk is the P4P King, the greatest fighter of his generation, the giant slaying King, and he became the undisputed King of the HW division at 37 y/o when he was already well past his prime having achieved everything he has the hard way.

Go cry those big baba tears into your history books whilst your reminisce about the good old days when boxing was a regional sport ruled by bums and roid freaks.

And as for Usyk's trunks being high. The irony is almost as comical as Belly fans complaining about the same thing. Dubois was the one whose trunks were high, Usyk's were not at all.

I thought his trunks were fine. But it looked legal to me and I see punches like that in every fight and the refs don't bat an eye. But I'm tired of discussing this and I guess it's possible that the bottom of the glove made enough impact near the groin to cause a lot of discomfort. It really didn't seem like it to me but it's possible.

That is impossible to know. His reaction indicates otherwise.

Why you looking at a man's thong? I agree those glowing white cheeks are difficult to tear your eyes away from, that's how Gentleman Jim mesmerized his opponents into defeat.

Yes, Usyk could have risen from the canvas. He was looking at the ref like Tunney was after Dempsey knocked him down ( yes I know it wasn't a body shot that put him down). The ref called it a low blow and he wisely stayed down.

Dubois supporters are clutching at straws here and they have been since the fight. Note tha Doobie also hit Hergo as well as AJ .

Dubois is certainly a different fight now in terms of confidence. I'd rather see him rematch Usyk than AJ, who is spoiled goods.

Usyk is actually a poster boy for where a fighter’s trunks should sit - unlike Dubois and Fury, Olek’s belt line genuinely delineates the no go zone.

I'm a bit shocked at the delusion in this thread. Usyk is an absolute G but theres no way he was beating a 10 count if the ref had deemed that body punch legal, I'd be surprised if Usyk had beat a 30 count.

He would have been finished. If he beat the count that is.

In some ways .. it is what it is ... is better than speculation because if he didn't beat the count there would be similar debate about the validity of the Dubois win.

It was kind of up to Dubois to win the fight anyway ... which he didn't.

I’m no Usyk hater, I think he’s great, but if the ref had deemed that shot to be legal, Usyk wouldn’t/couldn’t have got up. He was down for approx a minute and a half after it landed and he tried to get up twice in that time, but wasn’t able to.

He definitely would of. Even if he was as in as much pain as some claim he's one of the mentally strongest and physically toughest fighters to ever grace the sport and one of the most fiercely determined too. There's no way he would allow himself to be counted out and even more so in front of tens of thousands of Ukrainian fans in his big 'homecoming' fight and at a time when his country is at war. He didn't get to where he got to and achieve all he has achieved the hard way without being incredibly mentally and physically tough. No way whatsoever
