Talk of whether Usyk could have or would have gotten up from what was ultimately ruled a low blow might be a more intriguing topic if the Ukrainian hadn't closed the show in dramatic and conclusive fashion.

Some act as though Usyk was the beneficiary of a fortuitous call in the closing minutes of the final round and then eked out a decision he might have otherwise lost had the blow been judged differently.

The punch was an uppercut, which started making impact with the cup and went all the way up to the rest of the pubic area. Near the bellybutton. Yes it was a low blow. Also Usyk took his sweet ass time getting up because the ref ruled it a low blow, there was no need to get up quickly when there is no 10 count, and this gave Usyk time to rest as well. It was a pro move by Usyk.

If the ref started counting, yes Usyk would have gotten up before being counted out.

It’s pretty pathetic that dubois fans have to hold on to the one and ONLY scary moment for Usyk in that fight… WHICH WAS ILLEGAL or at least controversial to some. The rest of the fight was Usyk schooling the **** out of him Dropping dubois ass twice.
