Talking to a pal of mine, and he reckons Ward would beat Froch inside aswell as outside. He told me Ward does a good job of smothering his opponents offense and getting his own off on the inside, and he has underrated strength inside, he also says Froch doesn't know how to throw short punches. I thinks its food for thought. I kind of agree with the bolded. I dont know whether Ward would do this, just thought I'd throw it out there, see what you guys think.
Ward will beat Froch because of his inside game.. He would get under his jab and throw his jabs and hooks to the body.. Froch doesnt like fighting on the inside, and always pulls backwards when someone enters his comfort zone.. Ward will just be too fast and should be able to hit Froch on the retreat..
Sure. He does it in all of his fights(recently), if he can get inside. When/if he can't get inside, he knows well how to box outside.
