Could Ward/Dirrell/Froch/Bute even make it the distance with a prime Roy Jones?

Dirrell has the same type of speed, and a similar glass jaw, so that one would go the distance and end up in a close decision.

Froch has such long arms that he could keep Roy at a distance and possibly knock him out. Roy's speed might not be a factor because of the reach advantage and Roy's glass jaw.

 

All would be schooled and KOed before the final bell. They have all been knocked down by much lesser fighters than a Prime Roy Jones and Roy wouldnt let any of them off the hook

 

Dirrell would be an interesting one if he was a real fighter because he isnt that much slower and hes got skills of his own

 

You and your glass jaws. Have you seen any of Roys fights when he was in his prime ?
And since when does Dirrell have a glass chin ?
Btw, Jones has the same reach as Froch and you logic makes no sense. Longer hands equals victory :huh

 

RJJ was a amazing gifted fighter he wasn't a destroyer though I mean he had power he could ko guys impressively he just didn't usually fight that way Froch, Ward, and Bute would probably last the distance and Dirrell would never get the opportunity to fight him.

 

Prime Jones takes all of these fighters to school... I think he had the style to make andre ward look average and i would say hes the number ranked super middle at the moment. Prime Jones is a all time great

 

Roy Jones was an amazingly gifted boxer in his prime. As a Froch fan, i think Roy would make him look silly with Froch repeatedly missing with his punches and countered over and over again. Remember how Dirrell outboxed him in the second part of the fight? He would also punish Ward as he attempts his punch, lunge and grab. Dirrell would be too scared to fight him and the jury is out on Bute.

 

Depending on the ref I think Froch could make it the distance, guy has a hard head, it would be a shutout though. Dirrell can run fast enough to maybe make it to then end and maybe Ward could hug him to a wide loss. Personally I think the fights would be so wide at some point that they would just be called off.

 

hmmm the gold standard seems to go unchecked once fighters respective careers are over interesting.

Have some of these people seen him fight? The guy was athletic beyond belief. There are not many people in the history of boxing with the athletic ability as him....
