Could Ward/Dirrell/Froch/Bute even make it the distance with a prime Roy Jones?

Sure, a natural HW like Ruiz who KD'd Holyfield doesn't hit as hard as Froch...

How can a fighter have a glass jaw if he wasn't even knocked down in four weightclasses until he was 35 and completely past his prime? Had Jones retired after Ruiz, he could have been regarded as iron chinned.

Dirrell never ran he is just a slick African American boxer did you see Carl's caveman esq swings during the fight bless him he was trying his best.

Prime Froch got his pasty ass handed to him by a shot Taylor for 10 rounds I'll stress again No one touches prime Roy (apart from his missus) Y'all Must've forgot P4P No1 son.

No shame in losing to Calzaghe, Calzaghe was a hell of a Boxer and beat Jones obviousy past his peak.

Ward could probably make the distance, but Roy would whip them all pretty badly.

All depends if Prime Roy Jones has been on the old JoJu Juice again.

Hard to call without knowing its an even playing field.

Bearing in mind Roy Jones spent the bulk of his prime (regardless of juicing) taking on philly nightclub bouncers and boston santiation workers, with the odd NY traffic enforcer thrown in when he felt like a challenge.

Poor example,Ruiz was like a yo yo against a Cruiserweight (Haye) he was dropped by jabs FFS.He also started out as a light heavy, why do you think Jones fought Ruiz ? Why did Jones vacate the title, rather than face a Vitali ?????

Rjj ruined his legacy fighting tomato cans. Fights with calzaghe and the Polish Tiger should have been made when they were in their prime.

PBF is doing the same thing and that is what wil be remembered.

    Rjj was a great boxer.

If Lou Del Valle can put him down I don't see why the fighters listed could not. Jones is way hyped on here because of what people think he *could* have done not what he actually did. His time at Super Middleweight was short and he didn't fight anyone there except Toney.

Jones never beat a unified, undisputed, or lineal Champion in his whole career which in an era of 4 belts per division is pitiful. He refused to make big fights and he cherry picked a bunch of vacant belts for the majority of his career.

RJJ in his prime was incredible. However, he should've fought Benn and Eubank.

From the guys in the Super Six I'd bet that a prime Abraham lasts the distance (of course losing by UD) and maybe Ward, Froch and Dirrell as well, but RJJ was so fast and strong that I doubt it. Prime Calz would give prime RJJ a tough fight, because Calzaghe had a hell of a chin and similiar blazing fast reactions. Hard to say who would've won, it's a toss-up.
