Could we expect a strong undercard if Froch Groves II is at Wembley?

I like the fight happening at Wembly as it's great for British boxing, it'll definately sell but not sure it'll do more then 40-50k.

A 30,000 sell out at the Forest ground would have created an amazing atmosphere, a half empty stadium at Wembly will sound flat in comparison.

As for the Undercard, i think it'll have some decent fights on it although it won't be PPV worthy.

No, Wembley is favorite. They have said they will have it converted for boxing within 18 hours of the end of the soccer match.

Most likely outside, I know the last one it was people mainly in the train station as it leads right to the Arena, especially later out after a few undercard fights, but obviously risky. I'm from Manchester though so not too hard for me to nip to town, London for me on the other hand

Put it in wembley, stack the ****ing undercard with genuine quality fights and sell the place out, how good would that be for boxing? It's possible, make it happen Eddie. He would go up quite a few notches in my book if he secured wembley, put on a cracking card and sold the place out.

I always believe boxing has the potential for things like this if the promoters are willing to make it happen. Can't be that hard to assist a great main event with with a quality undercard. Two genuine quality 50/50 fights on the undercard would do the trick and then he could stack the rest of it with whatever shite he wanted.

Why would a stacked undercard sell the place out? I went to a significant amount of stadium shows in the 80s and 90s. And I am of the hardcore fancy, yet I still generally only showed my face for the main event.

Why make potential main event 'arena fights' on the undercard of a half empty stadium show? When the fans will pay for the bill, just for the main event?

I just think it has to have a good undercard to enjoy as well, I think more people would definetly buy tickets if they saw a good undercard as well even though the majority are there for the main event..

Well if Hearns putting it on PPV and expecting 80,000 fans to turn up then he will need to put on a good undercard.
And i don't mean the shite undercard he put on in the first fight, i mean a proper card where he will risk some of his fighters in 50/50 fights.

I find it funny tickets go on sale next Monday and the undercard hasn't been announced yet.
The undercard would be one of the main reasons i would buy a ticket, but Hearn is hoping the tickets get sold before he announces anything, so he can put together any old crap.

Hearn needs to put on a good undercard for the fans, but i wont hold my breath.

Hearn has got a great platform and needs to put together a quality undercard.

World Title fight chief support. and some really 50/50 fights

Quigg VS Frampton or Khan Brook [never happen with talk of Broner]

    Crolla VS Murray
    Smith VS Fielding
    Murray VS Macklin
    Clev VS Bellow
    Joshua VS Sprott

These kind of fights doubt it will happen though. Boxing I just don't get sometimes u would think boxers would jump at the chance Wembley record attendance making history

Why? Look at the stadium shows in the 90s and early 2000s that were SKY PPVs, they had nothing of real interest on the undercard. Hearn needs to sell 60,000 tickets; 30,000 boxing fans will show up no matter what, the other 30k will come for the buzz around the 'main event'. And because of that, the stadium will look empty until 20 minutes before the ring walks, no matter how good the undercard.

People who think Quigg/Frampton or Brook/Khan are an undercard fight on this bill need their heads examined.

    A realistic card could be

Froch v Groves II - WBA/IBF Super Middleweight Championship
Quigg v Martinez - WBA/IBF Super Bantamweight Championship
Martin Murray v Macklin - Final Eliminator
Kevin Mitchell v Ricky Burns II - Final Eliminator
Curtis Woodhouse v Tommy Coyle - British Light Welterweight Championship
    Joshua v Sprott/Skeleton
Paul Smith v Rocky Fielding - British/Commonwealth Super Middleweight Championship
    Stephen Smith v John Simpson
    Luke Campbell v Paul Appleby
maybe McDonnell v Hall/Ward - IBF Bantamweight Championship

I think the undercard will be decent, hearn knows he needs to step up the undercards for this type of event.
