Let's put 2006-2011 Wladimir Klitschko in the 80's. Can he beat all of Tyson's title fights opponents? Who would present the biggest challenge to him? Can he beat Tokio Douglas? And if so, would he beat 1990 Evander Holyfield?

I would make him the favourite over all of Tyson's title opponents.

But there is some big hitters like Bonecrusher, Bruno, that could upset the applecart as Wladimir hasn't got the best chin.

Tucker would also be a troubling opponent and would probably go the distance vs Wladimir due to his size and durability.

But all in all yes I would make Wladimir the favourite to replicate Tyson's title reign.

He'd stink out the joint while doing it if he did it, no highlight reel like Tyson

Wlad could punch too. There would be some mean KOs sprinkled in there.

Yes he could replicate the achievement of Tyson s title wins, but definitely not in the explosive manner or have the same historical impact.
He wouldn't be talked about in the same way , Tyson changed heavyweight boxing.

Wlad would do it without any real difficulty none of Tyson opponents were the cream of the crop and I don't see any of them having what it takes to beat Wlad. He'd probably do it in a much more boring fashion and later on everyone would criticize him for fighting in a weak era

Don't see him beating Holyfield though, too slow and one dimensional, Holyfield had too much dog in him and was too strong especially how he was built in 96 vs Tyson, anytime Wlad tries to clinch/octopus he's going to risk Holyfield tuning him up on the inside and likely receive some headbutts

Loses to Tokyo Douglas. Would be overwhlemed by the jab , speed and combinations.
Tucker could run away it Judging by how K was beginning to unravel against Williamson after only 3 rounds.
Larry Holmes was too tricky with the jab. Wlad never outjabbed an good jabber isn't pressuring him.
He would land less hits on James Tillis than he landed on David Haye.

Tuckers speed and fluid ring movement is unlike anything K had to deal with during the era of cement footed plodders. Ring movement was his kryptonite.

I feel the same. I would favor Vlad but wouldn't be surprised if Tucker or Douglas could upset him. Tubbs is another guy that at his best, could be a handful.
