Could Wright-Williams turn out to be another Hopkins-Pavlik??

I agree... The only way PW wins this is if WW is shot... For this same reason is why this fight was a "bad" move for Williams team, is a no win situation for him, good 4 the fans though!

No. My reason is that there is a big detail you've left out, RING ACTIVITY. Winky hasn't fought since the summer of 07. Atleast Hopkins was active and had fought the Calzaghe the same year he fought Pavlik. Winky will walk into that ring very rusty and Williams isn't exactly the fighter that you can easliy adjust yourself to. Not to mention that older fighters can't shake off the rust as easily like young fighters can. Williams and his effective bodypunching will wear down Winky but he won't knock him out.

Winky Wright is no Bernard Hopkins and Pavlik is no Williams. Paul wins comfortably.

Winky does not have Hopkin's amazing lateral movement and overall ring mastery. He fights flat footed and stands in front of you. His defense is his high guard. He doesn't try to make people miss. He is a target that can be tracked down. Completely different from Hopkins. In his prime at 154, he had the foot speed to move in and out of spots but not anymore.

My guess is that Winky will have a tough time since hes been gone for so long.
