The styles favor Wilder. I don't think it'd mean a whole lot.

    Ruiz lost to Parker too.

Wouldn't surprise me if it happened if I'm honest. Styles makes fights and Wilder is always capable of blowing anyone away if he can land before he himself gets caught. Also Ruiz looked really poor vs Arreola if an Arreola right hand can drop him hard then Wilder's can probably keep him down.

It would be Wilder's best win by some margin too.

    I hope you're right.
While his best payday's are likely behind him but there'd still be good $ for a fight against AJ or another top rated Brit.

I think he will "retire". But this won't be the last we see of him in the ring.

I think he should retire. He’s made an awful lot of money and has peaked physically.

I mean you can say "Styles make fights" all you want but it would mean a whole lot if Wilder blasts him outta there when AJ went life and death with him and then ran from him like a scalded dog in the rematch

"Scambled like a dog". You mean controlling a fight with his jab and straight right?

Wlad did a lot of scambling then...

Styles make fights and Wilder won’t be afraid to go after Ruiz like Joshua was. If Ruis shows up with no condition he won’t make it to the 6th

Wilder vs Ruiz/Whyte/Joshua/Usyk are all fights worth a watch.

Also for those saying he'll retire: if you've watched the two Malik Scott interviews, Malik seemed to lean more towards Wilder continuing. That's the impression I got at least.

Joshua's reputation is in tatters anyways. He quit against Ruiz, and got outboxed by Usyk.

As for Wilder-Ruiz, I think it goes 12 rounds cause both have great chins. Deontay would probably get a knockdown or two and win a close decision.

Firstly, it all depends what Wilders got left both mentally and physically.

The last two fights he's taken serious career changing damage IMO.

Secondly, and further to the above mentioned, he's not getting any younger is he?. To the extent that I think it's obvious his best days are now behind him.

Even if he does have something left I think a on-form Ruiz ( I know, it's rare) is and would always have been a bad match up for Wilder stylistically.

I favored Joshua against Ruiz the first time.
