**** no. Khan is a joke. He has terrible overactive footwork, no power, and no Chin. He is a miniature robot who does nothing but throw wild combinations of pitter-patter punches to his opponent's gloves and then he backpedals out. He is only effective when he's coming forward, Floyd would figure that out in about ten seconds, and then Khan would be on a steady diet of lead left hooks over that low right hand of his and eating pull counters every time he flicked out that shitty jab.
Khan would not be winning going in to the 7th. He does not have the reach and footwork to regularly land on Mayweather (I have quoted someone who says near enough the same thing). Speed only gets you so far, and height is near enough irrelevant in this match-up. A KD? Laughable. This. You're still a **** troll. So what you're saying is, Mayweather can't walk Khan down? That's essentially what Peterson did. He wasn't really too physical, he basically just walked through punches to close the distance. Mayweather can easily walk Khan down, whilst not getting tagged as often. This. ________________________ I thought the overrating of Khan had subsided after his loss to Peterson, I guess not. Or maybe Go Getta has brainwashed everyone in to believing in Khan. :think
2 Things i could see Khan giving Mayweather's problem. 1. Khan's speed 2. Khan's combinations in which he's a volume puncher in which Floyd mostly throws 1 punch at a time to pop shots.
Yes and no. If FMJ keeps him at range Khan has the hand speed and work rate to be a pain in the butt for the first 3-5 rounds. Especially if he goes in with the mindset that there is no way he can win a decision and leaves it all out there. Problem is Khan has a horrible habit of just closing distance until his is right on top of an opponent (where he sucks) versus maintaining distance. This is a problem because Khan just can't fight inside nor does he seem to be able to take body shots well. Zab Judah was able to gum up Khan's offense pretty well with a simple slip under an in. Khan CONSTANTLY ended up on his back and NEVER adjusted (in true Roach Coached fashion). That is not even mentioning size, reach, and technical skill. I see FMJ forcing Khan to fire, get too close, then punishing him with hooks and uppercuts to the body. If FMJ can make the straight right connect? Khan will go to sleep.
