Could you support a foreigner against a home fighter? In what circumstances, if any?

    i'm not really nationalistic. the fighters being from a certain country doesn't mean anything to me really.

    For me the nationality doesn't come into it. It seems to be a new thing that has crept in with new fans.

    Sure.

    I'm British but I would love Hopkins to beat Calzaghe because he's one of my favourites. For me, nationality has almost nothing to do with it. Seriously.

    Naw, that would be stronging it a bit. He made my list of favourite active fighters, but Hopkins is my second favourite active fighter. Just the way of it.

    Anyone who says they'll only support fighters that come out of their own country isn't a real fan of this sport. Plain and simple.

    Not really the case

    I always support our guys, but at the same time I stay up until silly hours watching fights between two Americans

    I'm sure many do the same, because we are also fans of the sport

    And anyone who says they wouldn't support a good fighter with heart and a good personality from their home country against a better fighter and better man from abroad is likely to be a liar. :deal

    Quite liked it when Barrera beat Naz.

    Europeans are just a foreign to me as Americans, if not more foriegn than Americans. So home is home to me, in most cases id like the Brit to win.
