Anyone else becoming tired of this cop out when a modern Super Heavy is matched against smaller heavyweights from the past?

We are told that these modern 230 + guys couldn't have possibly existed as they are and would be gangly with thin arms and long necks......repeatedly by one individual.

Stop moving the goalposts, just stop.

If it is beyond your capabilities to bring yourself to admit that some of the smaller guys from way back could possibly lose to the likes of Lewis, Wlad, Prime Bowe etc please attempt to justify your position with any other means other than the Couldn't have possibly existed angle.

That's what fantasy matches are about......both men as they existed in the real world, in real time.

The size of these bigger heavies would have been a problem for a number of the highly lauded smaller heavie from the past, however M.Tyson would have destroyed all of them as would Frazier with all probability, also they wouldn`t have had the same builds as they clearly lift weights aside from Fury except for when he was preparing for his rematch v Wilder, they may have been built like Carnera thugh and all of them are far better than Primo ever was.

Of course they could have existed.
Look at the size of Carnera.
None of these modern heavyweights, even with steroids, have the frame and physique of Carnera. Some might come close. He was a freak in his own time and he'd stand out as a freak now too, even with so many big men.
And more generally, big men have always existed.

Best argument to substantiate Fighter A to beat Fighter B in a fantasy match:

"Well, Fighter B wouldn´t exist back then, so Fighter A wins"

    Chokichokichok!

Stop to reduce Primo to his size, he was much more than that.

Carnera was touted in America as being 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) tall, and thus the tallest heavyweight in history (up until that time), but he was actually 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) tall. He fought at as much as 275 pounds (125 kg). Jess Willard who stood 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) was the tallest world heavyweight champion in boxing history until Nikolai Valuev, at 7 ft 0 in (2.13 m) and 328 pounds (149 kg). Though an inch (2.5 cm) shorter than Willard, Carnera was around 40 lb (18 kg) heavier and was the heaviest champion in boxing history until Valuev.
Do you mean Carnera was the second heaviest boxer in history to become a world champ?

Carnera was just heavy that all, his biceps weren`t bigger than AJ`s.

Primo`s reach was the same as Fury`s.

Carnera had a 48 inch chest (norm) a 58 inch chest expanded he weighed around 260lbs in some of his bouts.
    Joshua is 6-foot-6, has a 47-inch chest, and a 17-inch bicep.

That, and his combination of natural physique and frame.
Valuev had a bigger frame, but Valuev had a greater musculature.
Guys like Bruno and Joshua and Briggs have big muscles but none has the frame of Carnera, and at least one of those was blatantly 'roided to the gills.

    Exactly.
    Carnera is just bigger.
No one his height has his natural width.

Carnera was a natural phenomenon. I think he beats Ruiz.

Maybe Ruiz couldn't have existed back then though.
Was there anyone as fat as that boxing back then ?

    That’s a very good point.

I can only think of “Fat Willy” Meehan who was usually restricted to 4 rounders.

Ruiz vs Fat Willy would be epic!

i've seen pics of Meehan and he was fat and portly, a barrel.
But still not the sagging, rolling folds of flab that is Andy Ruiz Jr.
