Embedding it with other than default parameters is kinda screwy, so here it is:

haha I saw that video a while ago and the next day I tried it in sparring. I was sparring a southpaw so I used it to counter his jab. Wasn't the hardest shot but right on target and made he instantly took a few steps back.

He has another one from the same series showing how to roll the right hand and come back with a right uppercut to the stomach.

Thanks Vibit! Yeah it looks like a good counter to master. Although might have to take a couple before getting used to it.

That move scares the hell out of me. I don't think I'll ever be comfortable with it.

Dropping guard + bad reflexes = getting KTFO

Yeah he talks about how Wlad was reluctant to use it. It seems quite risky considering we're not even landing a full power body shot.

  7. It's done a bit in training. Seems like a good punch to learn and use when the time is right. For less risk but less affect You could vary it with semi crouch or timing a half step to your left.

    this move looks unnecessarily risky.

You can also move your right hand to in front of your face for some more protection.

That will make the counter less effective and the movement more complicated and less fluid it seems to me.

Counter? There are many shots. A cross is NOT a shot to play with! If you are countering and not blocking, dodging, or never allowing to be thrown a cross from a guy with a nice cross? You are a bad mofo.
