Counting BOTH their amateur runs AND pros, Who was more impressive? Usyk Or mayweather?

Funny how people who bashed pbf for fighting an mma fighter while still active but are quiet when usyk does it. With that said I have no problems with usyk doing it because im not a hypocrite.

 

Pimp, you need to realize the jokers you are dealing with. On one hand they will claim FM ducked and aged fighters out, and then when presented with facts and chronology that refutes their claims, they say, " well I do do deep dives into Floyd's career like the fanboys do but it's obvious he ducked prime fighters". LOL
That being said, I'd give Usyk the nod. Fantastic fighter. One of my favorite.

 

The only jokers on here are the Floyd fans who go to great lengths to discredit any fighter that could be considered better than him.

 

To be fair the OP has made quite a few threads like this.

If you see his opening post it wasn't made in good faith to have an objective debate.

He glazes over Usyk then posts two videos in an attempt to discredit Mayweather.

And I do agree with @MarkusFlorez99 even though Markus does troll quite a bit. It is funny that the OP was trying to mock Mayweather for fighting an MMA fighter.

But now Usyk is fighting a kickboxer and even worse its actually being legitimised as a world title fight.

You don't hear the same complaint from the OP and that is frankly just being biased and glazing over a fighter turning a blind eye to any of his faults.

I like Usyk he's a throwback to the old skool Heavyweights who were smaller and more skillful.

But some of his fans on here glaze over him a bit too much. And if they honestly believe Usyk is above Mayweather or Pacquiao I suggest they do more research. Because Usyk falls short of Mayweather or Pacquiao in regards to world title wins or notable wins.

 

I've never seen Usyk cry about 2lbs or wait his rivals out

 

Usyk has already fought everyone. He didnt wait anyone out. He didnt require drug testing or catchweights, didnt select opponents gloves, didnt require opponents to travel to his hometown (Usyk actually went to opponents hometowns), didnt retire multiple times, didnt reneg on catchweights, didnt pick judges or refs. Usyk didnt do any of that stuff. And Usyk actually fought giants, people who were larger, longer, heavier, stronger, etc.

PBF is an ATG, top 25 EVER. Its nitpicking to find things Floyd didnt do right in his career. With all that in mind, I would still rather have Usyk's career.

 

I wouldnt his best win is Tyson fury let that sink in.

Pac after JMM ended his reign and he was clearly on the decline...was better than Fury?

Yes! All of these fighters were ranked in the top 10 p4p when he schooled them. Argue with the people who ranked them not me.
Again who has fury beaten an old wlad and Wilder a guy who was seen as a unskilled joke by most on this forum. Fury's resume is not good at all. No he's not more accomplished than the fighters i listed earlier they're all hof fighters and have better wins than fury does.

Fury was a better win than every other Floyd win you mentioned or otherwise. Youre welcome to create a thread if you'd like, but Usyk accomplished more than Floyd. Gold medalist (Floyd robbed of chance to compete for Gold), twice undisputed in two different weight classes (Floyd never did that), visited opponents hometown, never picked opponents gloves, was genuinely the smaller man in probably every single fight, never required catchweights, never made A-side stipulations, never imposed drug testing, never ducked fighters - never.

Floyd, even with his imperfections, is one of the best. He's just under that Usyk cloth though and that's no diss.

 

Too bad no boxing historians or other boxers will agree with you. Ring just ranked pbf as the best fighter of the 21st century and there are many more who think he's greater than usyk. Usyk finished 4th on that list BTW. You're in minority and this forum doesn't count because it's full of haters and agenda havers who cant be rational if their lives depended on it. It does not represent the real world and how both fighters are viewed or ranked historically.
