Countries with the least amount of fighters

    After seeing Leif Larsen was from Norway (having a few friends in uni from there) I was curious to see the other pedigree of fighters that have come out of their . . . . . .

    Norway only has 7 professional active boxers, and only 99 boxers in total (going all the way to the 1920's)

    Im surprised there are so few in all honesty, only 2 of them have over 16 fights and the others have 2 or less fights.

    Come on Norway, step it up :bbb

    Pretty sure Luxembourg has ZERO boxers. . . BUt they got one hell of a commission :)


    I'm not going to count tiny countries, though. . .

    I don't think India, and ****stan have that many boxers. . . Especially in regards to their population.

    I know Afghanistan has one dude who is like one of those random WBA, or IBA belt-holders, and he is a ****ing hero in the country. But for any professional athlete to be able to at least compete at the high journeyman level in Afghanistan is a huge accmpmplishment.

    Finland had a kinda same kind of situation.. Boxing have never been illegal but there really was nothing going on.. Now in 5-6 years you can see lot of improvment. Many good prospects and some big events like Abraham-Froch, Povetkin-Boswell :good
