Among the unmanliest displays I've seen in a prize ring.

Woods apparently wants a rematch with Michael Hunter, believing he should have gotten the nod over him in their 6-rounder in 2018.

    Round 1

Cuza snapping out a jab. Woods very relaxed, cricking and rolling his neck slowly behind a high guard. Cuza reaching in with left hooks on the body. Woods eats a jab and does a mocking shuffle as he backpedals away. Body shots traded as they fall into a clinch. Cuza doubling hooks low to high. Woods coming forward, absorbing jabs on his forearms. Left uppercut, straight right by Cuza to break the guard. Woods lumbers onward, undeterred. Looping right by Woods just before the bell.

    10-9 Cuza

    Round 2

Cuza jabbing and moving. Woods walking him down, and hurling haymakers - missing. Woods almost pitches himself through the ropes and onto the floor outside. Cuza is content to pick off Woods as he comes in with bowed head and then wait for the ref to split them when he's pressed into the ropes. Cuza experimenting with some lead uppercuts, twirling his gloves, showboating a little.

    10-9 Cuza

    20-18 Cuza

    Round 3

Cuza is holding Woods off with his front arm extended, palming into his forehead a`la Wlad K. Woods just keeps shuffling toward Cuza, throwing very slow and telegraphed overhands, and occasionally dancing in place. Cuza countering down the pipe with big right hands now.

    10-9 Cuza

    30-27 Cuza

Woods' last couple of victories both came in 2022, both upset stoppages of previously unbeaten opponents: István Bernáth of Hungary (who took silver twice at the amateur Euro championships in 2008 & 09) and Rolando Soto Jr. of Mexico.

Nearing the halfway mark, though, I don't see a path to him doing the same with this 6'4" elusive Cuban. Not with these molasses shots and lack of creativity offensively.

Albert Haynesworth (yes, the NFL player - don't ask, he provides color on all these CountryBox shows for some reason) thinks he's spotting a dip in Cuza's gas tank, however...

Cuza, btw, is listed southpaw on BoxRec but has fought orthodox all night so far here.

So, either switch-hitter or record error.

    50-45 Cuza. Yawn.

Woods being negative, barely working and telegraphing with headhunting haymakers when he does. Cuza cruising, popping jabs, occasionally digging with body shots, but not stepping on the gas like he could with an overmatched opponent.

60-54 Cuza, started to hurt Woods midway into the sixth but was unable to finish. Woods with good survival instincts, covering up and rolling with shots.

    Shutout, but pretty unremarkable prospect.

@Pepsi Dioxide we're getting a face-off in the ring! Oliver McCall happened to be sitting ringside, and was chirping at Cuza that if that was him in here tonight he would have stopped Woods in half the distance.

Woods grabbed the mic from the ring emcee before the decision was read out and called out the Atomic Bull! :ibutt

We may be getting that one soon.
