Maybe he's just unlucky... I don't know if you guys have noticed the same things i did about this guy.. But , in his fight against Lesnar...He was slowly but surely getting the advantage...there was even a point when he was starting to outwrestle Lesnar...It was very close , but he did have this tiny advantage imo. And then , a seemingly weak punch from lesnar ended it all. What a ****ing frustrating loss... Now , you can argue and say that it looked weak but was super powerful... However , the same **** happened against Liddell... (of course we can't forget the accidental eye poke too)... Maybe it's because these punches landed right at the perfect spot ?... But damn , as i was rewatching this fight , it was so frustrating.....and Lesnar was gassed too... Having said that , i think Lesnar will probably annihilate Mir this time.
Couture does not have the worst chin. Lesnar has displayed devastating power. In his first fight the guy tapped from hammer blows I think it was. Mir was dropped with one right hand, as was Herring. Couture was kd and finished with punches. Lesnar can punch. He is a heavy handed man.
lol. i was actually thinking about that, how Coutoure always seemed to have kind of a fragile chin. Not as bad as Arvloski's, but how he has been chinny.

I like you Boxingcar but to say Couture has a weak chin is complete bull****. Before Lesnar KO'd him with that punch - Randy took a devastating knee to the chin that he seemed to shake off - but it hurt him enough that he mistimed the punch from Lesnar and wound up getting clipped. Liddell is a KO puncher of the highest order and was in his fighting prime when he KO'd Couture twice in a row. Being stopped by these two destructive fighters is hardly evidence that a fighter's chin is suspect.
Couture has a solid chin before that punch behind the ear he caught flush knees and an elbow that he shook only so much you can take from a guy who has 60 pounds on you. Look at the headkick he ate clean across the face from Gonzaga he shook it off then stopped him moments later. Remember the brutal punishment he took from Pedro Rizzo ? Randy never got stopped until he was in his 40s and his punch resistance declined of course it does when you get that old. I dont think Randys chin is elite but its at the very least B level.
I wouldn't say he has a weak chin but it's not cast iron either, that shot he took from Lesnar clipped him behind the ear in a very bad spot. Earlier in the fight he took a big knee and other shots as well. People should know any shot behind the ear towards the back of the head can be dangerous, just like how Serra caught GSP.
