I would have given some credit if he would if at least stood with him for a minute.. It was kinda cheap how he went straight for the ankle.. We all know the this was the smartest way to win, but I thought the competivness of Randy would at least want to stand with him for a second.

So you don't like boxers who have pretty much won a fight on pts, but go out for the last round and really go for it, go for the KO, or at least exchange, because a lot of them do. You don't like Manny Pac because he gets involved in things he doesn't need to do to win.

Randy was nothing but class tonight. Showed MMA he wasn't going to let it down by going into James world. He kept doing what he would do to any fighter without any ground game take him down and put him out.

I'm glad Randy didn't **** all over boxing because he had the perfect chance too. He knows what MMA is about unlike a lot of posters on here. Like he said before boxing is a tiny percent of MMA.

What? Where did I say anything close to that?

I was talking to somebody about how in a "street fight" you should stand and be a man.

If you are getting into street fights without absolutely needing to, and then if you aren't doing whatever it takes to win, you are an idiot who needs to grow up.

What is wrong with boxing fans with regards to MMA

Yeah, Couture took him down. Last time I checked it was MMA.

    This is stupid.

Do pro sports teams spot the underdogs points?

What sort of world do you live in? You pick a fight with a better fighter, you are going to get your ass kicked, welcome to life.

Sorry I though you were talking about Couture which this thread is actually about, not street fighting, wich is neither boxing nor MMA.

PS You appear to be calling several people 'an idiot who needs to grow up'.

    Chill out dude.:good

Now its chill out from the boxing fans when all you guys do is **** on us MMA fans. Do we go into the boxing forums and talk **** about boxing? No we discuss things mostly rationally until you guys come to us and try to talk ****, now your boys gets handled and you come in here and tell us to "chill out"? I don't even get along with Beebs on this forum but everytime a boxer comes in to **** on us I find myself agreeing with this guy. haha For that alone I hate when you guys show up hah, right Beebs?!

Did Toney not try and fall on top of Couture I'd had a few but i thought Randy missed with his original shoot and ended up with Toney trying to fall on top ? :huh Had a good few brews :!:

    I agree.

As given as an example elsewhere, many boxers who have already got the fight in the bag will go out and exchange in the last round, there's no real reason to do that as they've got the fight in the bag, but it's sort of a unwritten code.

Toney had the balls to show up for a figh but at the same time did he do it for a paycheck and was he delusional really thinking he was going to win.

No, Randy executed a textbook low single leg with extreme ease. Toney went straight to his back and Randy immediately jumped into full mount.
