:patsch It's a shame the rumoured Belfort vs Marquardt isn't happening.

"Couture vs. Coleman is one of those dream matchups that fans have always talked about," UFC president Dana White stated. "And when you consider that these are two of the greatest wrestlers turned mixed martial artists ever, and it's the first time that two guys who have already earned their way into the UFC Hall of Fame are fighting each other, this is not only an intriguing matchup but a historic one."

Looks like 107 will be the last card I am interested in until 110 then.

I'll be rooting for Coleman...But my brain says Couture.
Both are past their prime...so no excuses if Couture or Coleman gets owned.

I NEVER want to see Couture fight again, he was so boring against Vera. He is truly the Bernard Hopkins of MMA now. Push vera against fence and hold him there. Have no idea how he won that fight anyway. He was dropped, hurt on another occassion, taken down and mounted....and Vera stuffed every takedown attempt Couture made the entire fight.

This fight should be on spike and not as the main event.

UFC's standard has dropped. Couture vs Vera, Tito vs Ortz II, Couture vs Coleman, Chuck vs Tito 3! I see names but no freshness. BJ vs Sanchez should be good. Machida, Brock, Silva and GSP need to come back. I think the issue is that the faces of the UFC are out of action.

Totally agree. Dana needs to realise that he can't keep flogging the same big names forever, regardless of how they are performing.

All the old headliners shouldn't be main eventing anymore - Randy Couture, Mark Coleman, Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, Mark Hughes, even Rich Franklin and Forrest Griffin. Vera shouldn't even be in co-main events.

The UFC could be using this period of injuries to build up their next generation of stars. They certainly have a huge roster to choose from.

Did I forget to mention signing a 42 year old Renzo Gracie to a 6 fight deal?!?!?! One of his demands was he had to be assured a fight with Matt Hughes to avenge Royce's loss. Renzo hasn't fought in 2 years now!

I'm pretty sure the UFC always stipulates in contracts that they can terminate after a loss for any reason. I think Jon Fitch got "kicked out" during the video game controversy for that reason.
