yeah... if only barnett didnt lose to Mirko those three times he would have been a good candidate for #3. Those damn drug test hurt him as well. I really wish Barnett would have fought fedor, that would have been a good matchup. Overeem has a shot at the #3 if he wins this tournament and gets a few more good wins. I guess by that standard Cain can get their too.
I think the fedor fans are really hating that fedor is getting his ass kicked still in what should be his physical prime when he stepped up his competition.
Jesus christ....serious? Prime Emelianenko would have absolutely dominated Couture. Couture is not in Fedors class.
Physical Prime? Let me start off by saying I think it is ****ing pathetic you are all over the place bashing Fedor after a loss. He has given SO much to this sport! He never gloats, never badmouths opponents. He's a true sportsman. And he has been the most consistent and dominant athlete in the sports short history. He took a hellacious beating in that 2nd round from Bigfoot, but still at the end of the round he was going for a submission. He never quit, never gave up and successfully escaped from danger and finished strong. I'll say it again, it's ****ing pathetic. As far as his competition goes? I agree in the past few years he hasn't fought THE BEST, but he has still fought solid competition. Lindland was a joke. But Sylvia, Arlovski and Rogers were all legit threats. If you say Sylvia wasn't, then I hope you don't rate him as a great victory for Couture either :deal As far as better competition being in the UFC? I don't agree with that. Currently I think the Strikeforce Roster for Heavyweights is on par with the UFC. As far as his physical prime....I understand that your a ****ing idiot, but you can at least attempt to be logical. "Prime" is 50% if not more mental. He has lost some fire and motivation. At his age, after so many years of heavy training an unmotivated body is NOT a "prime" one. It's not rocket science to see the difference in him from then til now.
