Couture vs Lesnar...but , what happened to Nogueira ?

He should but Lesnar is fukin' Dana so............this is what we get. winner of Randy/Lesnar fights winner of Nog/Mir for "real" hw championship. Its stupid we won't find out who is the "true" champ until next summer probably.

 

One thing that could always be said of the UFC is that they made the best fights possible and the best fighters were forced to fight the best fighters. That was one legitimate claim Dana had over boxing. He insulted and thrashed Floyd Mayweather for NOT fighting the best and boxers and promoters for avoiding the best possible "boxing matchups" for the best "financial matchups".

I see whats happening here as a very bad sign for the UFC. This is the first time, well maybe second or third (Ortiz/Shamrock trilogy and Hughes/Gracie) that they had ignored what the fans want to see and what rightfully should happen and sold themselves out for a bigger payday. Gracie should not have gotten an immediate shot at Hughes...but he did because the fight would sell. There is NO WAY there had to be 3 massacres b/w Ortiz and Shamrock, when Ortiz coulda been fighting real threats.....but those fights sold like crazy so they happened. And Couture should be fighting Nogeira...end of story. There should not be a tournament, why the **** is Mir and Lesnar now on the level field with Couture and Nog??????

 

What actually should've happened. Couture retired/quit/whatever you call it. He should've been strippped for real. UFC could've given him Champion emeritus status for a year. Nog and Sylvia should've fought for the legitimate title, so Nog should be the true Champion. Werdum should be getting the title shot and not Mir or Lesnar. But **** it, at least the WWs are still good.

 

Mir isn't on the level of Randy and Nog and Lesnar lost to Mir so what does that tell you?

 

This is what i said on another thread. Nog was declared the interim champ but now has to face Mir to find out who is the number 1 contender for the winner of Lesnar vs Randy?!?! And MMA guys give boxing stick! Lesnar is the UFC`s new poster boy and im pretty sure Dana guranteed him a title shot when he signed up. Theres no way Lesnar deserves a shot at the title let alone at Randy.

 

W/e that tatoo on Lesnar's chest is.... it is of something that belongs to Dana White.

Nog's fighting the same fight at the same time for the same reward as he was 2 weeks ago. Now he has the chance to win the lineal belt if he wins, which he did not have until now.

What are you guys complaining about? Mir and Nogueira have to wait for the next season of TUF to end before they fight. Nogueia's title was declared interim when he won it. Mir and Nogueria are about to get great exposure as coaches on TUF - so it's not like they're being shut out in the cold. The winners of all of these matches will meet up within the next year and everything will be sorted.

 

It tells me MMA math doesn't mean ****. And if you would ever stop crying about everything the UFC does you would realize that Mir and Nog are already fighting each other so the two time lines will work out and the Next fight will be around spring. Lesnar vs Randy is a huge fight for MMA and the UFC and will likely break records.

 

I suppose its only right considering it would be kinda weird to see TUF air on TV promoting Frank Mir vs Nogueira only to have them fight different opponets.
