Coward Dirrell lost for words when asked which doctor told him he couldn't fight.

It was obvious that Dirrell was acting after the illegal blow by Abraham, just as it was obvious that he was lying about his injury to avoid the fight with Ward.

Only way Dirrell were acting was if Abraham in fact missed with that shot.

    Psychically you mean?
That punch was so close that he almost got hit by it. It even gazed him :yikes

I heard that some martial arts masters can hit you today and kill you months later. :think I give Dirrell 2-3 months maximum to live.

Neurologically. Dirrell's whole game was based on speed of reaction...

Dirrell undoubtedly suffered neurologically damage as a result of that punch. Given his game, it is likely that damage will have had lasting effects on his level of performance. The only question is how strong these effects are.

I am not saying they are strong enough to justify him not fighting Ward. But I cannot say they aren't strong enough either. The fact is only Dirrell/his team/his doctor know. So I don't really understand why he's being attacked in this way....

Ward is one of the best SMWs in the world. Why should Dirrell take him on unless he feels he is fully recovered and can do himself justice? Because Showtime wants him to? Well, **** you, Showtime!

Dirrell is a prizefigter and he has the right to pass on a fight if he feels he isn't well. And anyone who says Dirrell is a coward in these circumstances is just a brain-dead loser.

How long were both boxers trying to get out of not fighting each other? And this neurological problem just happened to turn up weeks before the bout, and they hadn't settled on a location, or even started training?
