fi they cant produce any evidence then that just means that floyd is the one doing it..Hence he really doesnt want to fight pac because he want to decrease the cbance of pac fighting him

paul you ignored my explanation for Smith not showing up for the press conference. He has no reason to. Noone cares about the fight, save for *******s.

You also ignored the rest of my counter argument and repeated the same drivel.

I honestly respected you as one of the few rational posters on this forum, but you've really taken a dive in the May/Pac talks. You're letting your bias take over.

Smith and Atlas said made their comments while representing The Daily News and ESPN respectively. Those are huge media outlets that greatly influence public opinion. I don't see how the uneducated opinion of Mayweather Sr. or alleged comments made by Schafer during a private meeting hold more weight.

All these are inter-related, but including them in one big case would add probably three more years to the litigation. Rest assured that if there is a guilty verdict Atlas and Smith as swell as the companies they work for would be respondents next.

Im confused what do Tim Smith or Atlas comments have to do with the Mayweathers. Neither of them are massive supporters of the Mayweather so why would they say anything bad about Pac because of them?

If Tim Smith is wrong or lied then that is on HIS back not anyone elses I think some people on here are really dillusional everything they try and blame Mayweather for!

I dont feel we will get the truth unless Pac forces their hands which he seems he wont do!

Nobody takes the New York Daily News seriously. In the New York publication family, they are the ******ed stepbrother. They are looked at as more of a tabloid than a credible news source. That's probably why they haven't been sued by Pac. Cause everyone already knows the NY Daily News is a damn joke and the "journalists" there bad-mouth pro-athletes all the time. They definitely deserve to be sued in this case. Tim Smith is a douche.

Press are treated differently according to the Constitution and Supreme Court. The standards are much higher as the court gives them a much wider latitude to what can be considered libel and/or slanderous.
Private citizens and corporations are held to a lower standards. Also, the press does not have to reveal sources (only in extreme cases) thus make it much more difficult.

Pac does look guilty by not taking tests--if that is true. Smith, together with world's number one bull**** artist Teddy Atlas, put it out there about e-mails. They should be sued, but it is tough, since they can claim a source needs to be protected, and not give up info.

Is Smith ducking story since Atlas made his announcement on ESPN? It seems like Teddy is pttting blame on Smith.

Smith is major boxing writer, and should have been at press conference, or at least he should come out publicly and cleared things up.

So let's pretend that the e-mail doesn't exist. Did Tim Smith make it up? If so, why? Would you put your journalistic integrity on the line to hurt Pacquiao? It doesn't make sense. Smith probably did have a source, and that source either does not want to come forward, and/or simply cannot produce the e-mail. You can hate on Teddy Atlas and Smith all day, but neither are stupid. I for one am waiting on the lawsuits against these two. If Manny doesn't sue a widely circulated newspaper, then Crapiao is full of it.

Regardless Manny's excuses don't add up, and no e-mail or lawsuit is going to erase the doubt that he has created.

Pacman doesn't need to sue them this time around. They're just distractions as of the moment while he's training for the Clottey fight.

You sound stupid! You're such a PAC HATER!
