So I don't know how many people were here or remembered the previous cox vs sai fight where cox did over 20 illegal bellow the belt blows and still won a Unanimous points decision even though a majority opinion was that Sai won.

I looked through Boxing News today, issue 44, turns out the Commonwealth Boxing commission has ordered a rematch.

Hopefully this time it will not be on british soil, and hopefully there will be a competent judge this time.

Anyway, I remember a few of us sent in e-mails to the BBBoC to complain and hoping for at least a rematch.

Heard Cox was vacating a few weeks ago. Any truth to this rumour?

That fight was a massive disgrace to British boxing, and it doesn't alter the fact that Sai's record will still reflect a loss. I felt ashamed and embarrassed that a young man who probably has very few chances in life, other than boxing, had to leave our shores without his title and having been smashed in the nuts both metaphorically and literally all night long.

I think Cox will drop the belt rather than fight Sai again. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sam Webb step in and fight Sai for the vacant title.

I don't see Cox taking this fight, I think he'll get in trouble or pull out nearer to time.
