cmon Mendy, the one instance when GGG didnt win and you kick up an enormous fuss. Its poor sport. You are putting us real 3G fans to shame.
Try replying to the score cards I posted. It was a robbery. And I proved it. Poor sport was one of the judges cards.
i have, i am telling you that you come up with all this "evidence" only when you get butthurt because 3G didnt win on ONE occasion. I dont see you putting up lists of judges for all his other fights. this is poor showmanship on your part.
1 ) Yes, I come up with evidence. Try it more often 2 ) Which other score card would you like, outside of Canelo? GGG won them all of his fights on the cards. You can move the goal post back again if needed. I'm not sure what you mean by poor sportsmanship, you're a known troll.
The decision wasn't all that bad, really. It was a **** fight, with a lot of fluffy rounds. That's the problem, when you can't make a clear statement, against a vaguely world class opponent. The same issue exists with his close one against Jacobs. Neither effort was emphatic, which leaves question marks. It doesn't matter what you, I or anyone else thinks about the W, L or D. It's the lack of distinction that lingers.
I asked you who do you think won, have you answered? Yes--it was a bad decision. One judge was crooked. All three judges gave Canelo the final three rounds, which is not correct. I posted many score cards of the fight. Did you look at them? Notice the vast majority felt GGG won.
2017-09-16 : Gennady Golovkin 160 lbs drew with Saul Alvarez 160 lbs by SD in round 12 of 12 I can live with that. As I've already made clear, I think it was a rubbish fight, with lots of very little to pick the bones out of. I trust Golovkin will put this right, in their rematch (and I'd bet on him doing so), but stop trying to make their first fight out to be a win for Golovkin. It isn't, plain and simple.
I call out BS when it happens. Lewis vs. Holyfield 1 for example. Another bad draw by a crooked or blind judge. Or how about Pacquiao vs Bradly 1? Same BS. If you accept that as okay as a fan, you may. I think it diminishes the sport. I tend to think GGG will win the rematch, even though 36 seldom beat 27 when 27 is also world class.
My, my. How noble of you to have called out the universally accepted robbery of Lewis/Holyfield (I). LOL - that result is in an entirely different league of bentness, as is the Pacquiao/Bradley (I) result. Neither of the examples you have given, are remotely comparable to Golovkin/Alvarez. So, no. It's not the same. Neither fighter was outstanding; nothing really separated them. It was an ordinary fight that will not live long in the memory once the rematch is over. Golovkin isn't shot, by a long chalk. If he can't hammer home the corrective action necessary, it will be a shock. Especially, after all the fuss that's been made over the first fight.
I view the GGG vs Alvarez fight as a clear bad decision. The vast majority of media outlets favored GGG by 116-112 or 115-113. It falls into my Pacquiao vs Horn, Pacquiao vs Bradley 1, and Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 video collection where I am convinced a bad decision was rendered. Not as egregious as Whitaker vs Chavez or Lewis vs Holyfield, but clear enough. In regard to Armstrong vs Garcia, there is considerable contemporary opinion and shady circumstances that flesh out what we see in the edited footage. Two good articles below cover this. https://www.*******.com/henry-armstrong-goes-four-divisions--12843 http://www.boxing.com/who_robbed_hank_armstrong.html The quality of the match doesn't impact the legitimacy of a deserved win. Fury vs Klitchko wasn't a barn burner but we respect Fury for his win. If Klitchko was given a gift draw, does that detract from the performance Fury gave? Boxing decisions are at times subject to the capriciousness of human subjective error, and under the long shadow of "A" side politics and promoter "influence ". Simply stating "a draw is a draw" ratifies these corrosive elements. A nuanced appreciation of what we see in the ring regardless of judge scorecards is the least we as boxing enthusiasts can do to pay homage to those who are wronged.
if i tried to fake evidence like you do everytime my boxers lost, I'd be very busy. i moved nothing mendy, but you wont listen to how mad you sound. if i'm a troll why r u replying. i think you know full well thats not the case.
Again - I can't align with that perspective on Golovkin/Alvarez, at all. And, to be honest, I can't see any consistency in your perspective on scoring, either. "Pacquiao vs Bradley 1, and Pacquiao vs Marquez 3" ??? There's a big difference between these two bouts, in terms of a potential discrepancy in the scoring. With regards to your comments on the quality of the match, I didn't explicitly state a bout had to be a barn burner to avoid being considered a draw. Fury vs Klitschko was a clear win for Fury, because his better performance was distinguishable from the lesser performance of Klitschko - lack of drama, notwithstanding. Neither Golovkin nor Alvarez particularly distinguished themselves apart from one and other; leaving the judges little to work with, in my opinion. Fights like that can go either way and often do. It wasn't a robbery and it seems to me that those that claim it was are, in general, on a bandwagon. The influence of politics in boxing, no doubt plays its part; that less savory aspects of the game impact outcomes, to varying degrees, sometimes. But this invisible presence can equally be used as a convenient fallback for an uninspired performance; or, just fall into the category of conspiracy theory, period. I think you'd need a lot more evidence to convince anyone - and me, especially - that I have somehow ratified "these corrosive elements" you mention; by merely calling a spade a spade - or, in this case, a draw a draw.
